I decided to take these pictures of a building I found downtown on State Street. I took these photos because the columns really stood out to me. They add a lot of detail to the photos and portray leading lines. I also tried to convey viewpoint by taking these photos at many different angles. The different angles help make the photos look more realistic.

Rainy Day
I took these photos of a church I walked past in Ann Arbor. I have been inside this church many times in my life and I have always found it as a beautiful building. In my photos, I tried to show the church windows and all of the decoration they contain. The windows make the photos a lot more interesting to look at. I also tried to bring out the different color brick while editing in these photos.

To The Sky
These photos are of the side of the Art Museum in Ann Arbor. When I was walking, the lines on the building caught my attention. The lines were in a perfect order and all stuck out a few inches from the building. I tried to take these photos from different viewpoints to make the lines really stick out. Also, I tried to get the reflection of some of the lines on the glass building.

Down The Alley
I took these photos inside Nickel's Arcade downtown Ann Arbor. This alley has always stuck out to me because of the architecture. The side of the buildings all have a lot of detail without using lots of color. The top of the alley has glass windows which allow light to seek in so I was able to produce perfect photos. In the second picture, I took a picture of the top of an entrance to a private stairway. The picture showed the brick and designs up close.

These photos are off a sculpture that stands right in front of the Art Museum downtown. I decided to take these pictures because throughout my life this sculpture has always been the perfect spot to take good photos. The sculpture has many different lines and shapes that all connect in one area. I took the photos at many different angles to show the different sections. In the second picture I tried to capture a shot of the top of the sculpture to show the ropes that hold it in place.
